Jiri Kylian is one of the most important figures associated with contemporary dance. Since 1975 he is related to the National Dance Theatre in Hague where he creates one of the most outstanding kind of choreography. He connected the dance movement with Mozart music in a magic way. His performances Petit Mort Forgotten Land Black & White astonishes with simplicity and movement precision. It creates some kind of space relations. Jiri Kylian intentionally sculpts using the body, which is a conscious instrument here. We take from it handful.
It was priceless experience to learn this poetics in a physical way while the workshop in Hague. Working with the NDT dancers, directly in the Corso Theatre, changed my dance space built previously at the Polish Dance Theatre classes.
